On 17th October, Primary 5 enjoyed a memorable trip to Bunkerdorp to close off our Eras of Change and Conflict topic. The classes walked from school and met their guides along the way for a fascinating tour of the local area, learning what life was like during the war. 🗺️✈️
We were even able to explore inside the bunkers, and the amazing volunteers shared some of their discoveries from the area – bringing history to life right before our eyes!
Earlier this term, pupils also took part in our Trench Project, researching life in the trenches and creating their own impressive trench models. This trip was the perfect way to connect their classroom learning with real-world history. 📚👏
